This is what you will be graded in your Final RP Test. This takes place after you have completed and scored a 65% or higher in each of the ten lessons( which are the same as the following categories). THE FINAL TEST MUST BE 1,000+ WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come-on, its a chance to show off!!!! Oh- 999 is ok, but NO LESS THAN 990! So shoot for like 1,500 and you will be fine
Once you get your designated posting partner, you will both take turns posting in your thread as you do in a regular thread. The difference though, is that after a total of ten replies to your thread (after you've each posted five), one of the members of the RPT staff will post a critique (commentary and/or review) on your role-playing thus far. The things you can expect to be critiqued on are:
- Appearance. Things such as grammar, typos, and punctuation. (ten points)
- Dialogue. The rhythm, tone, and style of the character's way of speaking. Also- whether you used the rules of Dialogue. (ten points)
- Accessibility. How easy it was to follow the action, what was going on, and why it was going on.(ten points)
- Originality. Whether or not your characters had it.(ten points)
- Setting/Canonicity. Whether or not it added to the plot, mood, and tone, and whether or not you referred to the map to see where you were located. (ten points)
-Structure. Whether or not everything happened in a logical order.(ten points)
-Pacing. Did you have this incredibly long journey happen in like two sentances? Thats an example of BAD Pacing. Things should happen gradually. In fact, a long journey shouldn't happen in one post, but more like one thread. (ten points)
- Believability. Was it easy to imagine that you were the charecter- or did you basically act like yourself. Leaders should be much calmer and wiser, while Kits & Apprentices are normally mischevious. STICK WITH YOUR CHARECTER!!!!!!!!! (ten points)
-Style. Whether or not each character's driver expressed things differently.(ten points)
- Detail/Fodder How long was your post? Did you explain things and follow all the rules? Did you godmod? (Which is bad.)(ten points)
Since you have a sort of "rubric", you may take this information and think about it before you actually type your RP. This way, you'll advance through the levels more, and you won't be as critiqued as harshly. And we will critique you harshly if your role-playing was not good. I won't be mean, but at the same time you won't learn if I tell you it was good when it wasn't. So don't take the critiques as an insult, just something to learn from. The whole point of this is to improve- no-one is perfect!!!!!! Seriously- the first time I was critiqued, I recived the incredible score of 20.5%!!!!!!! ( Now I avg. a 72%)
So, no pressure. This is just something to learn from ;D
