Yeah, it really wasn't that great. Cinderpelt, and Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are getting terribly annoying. I mean, just apologize, make up, and be friends again! Not that hard!
And Brook and Stormfur isn't that great of a cliffhanger. I think the Gathering that Fireheart led at when Tigerpaw had just become leader of ShadowClan was much much better.

well it is sorta hard to out do that cliffhanger but yeah, i sped through it and was officially bored half of the time. I totally agree, the Brambleclaw/Squirrelflight thing got so annoying, due to their insencent whining all the time. I mean, I feel bad for ashfur, but It was just so repetative. Although I have to say, I might have enjoyed it more had i not known the ending... (curses thomas) F.Y.I- I was in washington with my least favorite cousins in the world(spoiled stuck up whiny brats...and their parents? spoiled stuck up "why should we put the miles on our car even though my dad had just driven 14 hours (looong story"....arrogant, obnoxious, brats. They are like the outlaws of our family, mouse & kal(though kal loves their dog. so do i actually, poor doogie.) are sure to agree. ) and I learn that Thomas has been reading Warriors, and he has Twilight(dangles in front of me). This is the same day I'm getting the book. My dad takes it and pretends to read the end to me ( he does that allllll the time ) and then (ERRRG) Thomas is like "I already read the ending. Cinderpelt dies. She's killed by a badger." And I'm just standing there like...." whaaaaa? NO! Not CINDERPELT!" so yeah, knowing the ending officially ruined it for me.(ERG) I also hope Sunset is better. And I'm not going anywhere near Thomas. (ERG) . -blinks. blinks.- Actually, I think that Firestars quest will be better. Cause think about it, it's FIRESTAR. And SANDSTORM. And GRAYSTRIPE. And MISTYFOOT (heyyy maybe we learn what happened to her kiiits? hehe) YAYYYYY ORIGINALSS!!!!!

Ok I got a bunch more info. (kate carys site: www.theguttersnipe.co.uk ) There will be another special edition book, The Secrets of the Clan including what Starclan thought when Bluestar gave up her kits and a med cat list and loads more. Firestars quest will be a very big book and the third series will be Power of Three. In the first one Graystripe rejoins thunderclan. OMG THOMAS IS A BRAT! he is nice to me! sometimes... well I think I have it better than you. And lol funny story bout the dog: Maryann said "Bella will not go on the furniture, she doesnt like the feel of carpet under her paws, and she will run away if you let her off the leash and she wont return." NIGHT ONE: Bella ventures into the living room. Appearntly she DOES like that feeling. DAY/NIGHT TWO: I showed Bella the couch and she jumped up there since then. DAY THREE: We let bella out. Guess what. SHE CAME BACK! it was soo funny! And I like Twilight. Brambleclaw was a total jerk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Squirrelflight...i see no difference. But they should make up. But not in a "Im sorry" "me too" way more complicated. Like they realize that they dont hate eachother. And I think it will happen in Sunset remember where it said "Squirrelflight thought would she do the same for Ashfur? No, she thought. For Brambleclaw? That was a question that she could not answer." Not exact wording but... So I am totally looking foward to Original cats again. Cos it is Firestar Sandstorm Graystripe. An I LOVE Np books, but it will be nice to have original books again. So if you want more info bout warriors and stuff, go on guttersnipe and you will find a link to a chat room with KateCary, Cherith Badlry, and Vickey Holmes. and a link to russian warriors covers (WAYYY BETTER THAN OURS!!!) Soo..

Maybe they're bringing Graystripe back. But they're probably just visiting or something, and Erin Hunter just put that in there to make us read the next book.
I mean, we would anyways, but for less loyal readers who need a cliffhanger. I hesitate to say a good cliffhanger.
Of course, you can't beat when Tigerpaw became leader.....

very true, very true. i'm starting to like the old books A TON better than the newer ones. seriously a ton. to me they were much more suspenseful and the characters were better.

i have two points on that front:
a.) they were way better and totally suspenseful, and somewhat funnier (A SIGN A SIGN!)
b.) but, we were also younger! middle school vs. high school is a HUGE!!!! difference! We read them a TON faster now, and look at us saying what a better cliffhanger would be, and how predictable the plot is! It wasn't when we were Kal's age, and (huh) she seemed to enjoy it more than we did.
The original warriors are like our CLASSIC warriors, so of COURSE they are better in our minds. I'm not saying the new ones are BAD (exactly) but the originals are better. Especially #3.

i agree that since we are older, it kind of....well.... i don't know....it seems like since 8th grade, so much has happened to change everything. like in all three years of middle school combined, not as much has happened (at least for me) from the end of 8th grade till now. that's kinda off subject on warriors, but it does affect how much i like them i think. but i wish i could still enjoy the new ones just as much, but i have other things on my mind these days.
oh,well. i still will kill erin hunter if she doesn't bring graystripe back soon! (haha did u notice that i put 3 words in a row that rhymed?) ;D

Yeah, I guess our age did effect our perception of the books. I mean, now we've read so many books meant for older kids, and we've gotten used to the deeper style of writing. But the originals still were a lot better. I mean, Midnight came out in 8th grade, and we were all kinda dissappointed, if I remember correctly. We were all spazzed out about it, we could barely concentrate on the ELA's, and then we got it, and read it, and yes, enjoyed it, but we all agreed it wasn't as good as the originals.
If Erin makes another series of 6, it should totally be Bluestar's past. We might like it better, because it's characters we know and love. Just a bit younger than we're used to. And it could end like right as they find Rusty/ Firepaw/ Fireheart/ Firestar. It would be cool to see them all as apprentices.
Wow..... I havne't read the originals in a long time...... I've been so obsessed with Alex Rider. I really should read them again.
